Collateral editors visited the Selma Carson Home in Fife, Washington, to offer poetry workshops to undocumented youth detained there. Afterward, we compiled their poetry in a small anthology titled corre y corre sin detenerte / run and run without stopping.
Many of the poems created during these workshops were first attempts not only in poetry, but in writing. The impact of violence in these poets’ lives is clear, but so are their voices and resilience.
